It's been a week since I started blogging and it's made me feel as though I should be more productive. More productive so I can have something to say when I actually blog. :)
So over the last week I've made it official and I've cleared a full time venue for our volleyball events at Grass Flats. The Play Dates for Adults website is starting to get more hits and I'm promoting it more and more each day. I've even set up more events for this month and next so people will know what to expect from the group. Hopefully by next month I will clear 300 members and well over 200 visits to the site a day.
I was having problems with my stupid Black Berry Tour that I purchased last August. I've contacted Verizon for over 6 months with the issues and all they kept doing was sending me a new BB Tour instead of a different brand of phone like I requested. After a long battle and some help from one of the Play Mates in the group I was guided in the right direction and I was able to get a new Droid at no charge. I'm making this sound easy and I have to promise it was nothing of the sort. I went for months fighting with Verizon over this issue and I had all the intentions of leaving by June, but with the right help and with the right attitude I was able to get a solution that I could live with. YAY!
I've got a roommate moving in this weekend. I'm actually excited for this person to move in because I could use the company in this big house. I'm not here very much as it is and with someone living here I would feel better about leaving my cats for my business trips. Plus it's always nice to have someone to bitch to when life gets in the way of life. So Saturday is the big moving day! Should be fun!
Well, I'm going to make myself my own chai tea latte. I figured I love Starbuck's so much that to save some money and an extra plastic cup I would try to make my own chai tea at least once a day. Let's see how long this will last.
