When I received the product I noticed that the packaging was very professional. You'd be surprised how many products I test out and they look like they were made in someone's garage. The New Radiance Naturals product came in a tinted glass eye dropper bottle that was sealed (so you can see if it's been tampered with). I also noticed on the label that the New Radiance Naturals Professional Vitamin C Serum has a few more helpful and active ingredients than most Vitamin C serums.
I was asked to do a review for the New Radiance Naturals Professional Vitamin C 20% Serum in return for free product and pay. I had never heard of this company before and I was interested in seeing the quality of the Vitamin C Serum that they have in their line. One of the first things I noticed about the company is that they don't test on animals, it's 98% Natural and 72% Organic, it's vegan and they have a money back guarantee. Oh, and New Radiance Naturals Professional Vitamin C 20% Serum is made in the USA in their FDA Certified Facility. That's a great start when I'm testing out products. I also noticed on the label that the New Radiance Naturals Professional Vitamin C Serum has a few more helpful and active ingredients than most Vitamin C serums. Some of the most helpful ingredients are organic Aloe, Vitamin C, Witch Hazel, Vitamin E and Organic Jojoba Oil. It also has Ferulic Acid, but scientists haven't determined that it's a strong enough source to actually protect your skin from UV rays, so that ingredient doesn't mean as much to me. The Witch Hazel and Organic Jojoba Oil on the other hand are great ingredients to add to this serum. Witch Hazel acts like a toner and it can help make pores appear to be smaller. It can also help with bruises, cuts, swollen veins, sun burn, hemorrhoids and a ton of other home remedies when used on its own. The New Radiance Naturals Vitamin C serum also has Organic Jojoba Oil which is helpful for people with oily skin. Even though jojoba oil is an oil, it can help regulate the amount of sebum (what you see as oil) your skin makes, creating less oil. Now that I've bored you to death with the details on the ingredients and the possibilities of this product let me explain how I used it. After I took a shower and I towel dried my face I added about 3-5 drops in between two fingers and I massaged the New Radiance Naturals product into my skin under my eye and around my brow line. Being that there is Witch Hazel in this product I decided not to use my toner before applying the New Radiance Naturals Professional Vitamin C Serum. When I put the serum on I noticed that it had a unique smell which was from the witch hazel. It was a pleasant smell that could be considered relaxing. I didn't notice any tightening with my skin when the product dried, but I did feel like my face was moisturized. I applied my moisturizer on about 20 minutes later and I applied my makeup. I didn't notice any difference in the way that my makeup stayed on. It seemed to last all day like normal. After a long day of work I washed my face and put more of the serum on. I didn't notice any immediate difference in my face, but I did notice a difference in the discoloration or variations in my skin tone. I found that my skin was starting to even out in tone and the skin above my brow was less oily.
