BakeitFun Non-Stick Blue Baking Mat Recently I was asked to do a review on the BakeitFun Blue Baking Mat in return for a free baking mat. I love making cookies and I've got a special recipe that I can't wait to try out on this new mat. One of my biggest annoyances when baking cookies is the cookie sheet gets dirty while I'm baking and I sometimes have to wash it before putting the next batch of cookies on the tray. I started using wax paper, but I find that there's a lot of waste happening and it seems to leave my cookies with a more browned bottom. I was really excited to try the BakeitFun Blue Baking Mat in hopes that it would relieve me from my cookie baking issues.
BakeitFun Non-Stick Blue Baking Mat When I first received my BakeitFun Blue Baking Mat I was nervous because it was rolled up and I thought it would stay creased or rolled when I used it for the first time. I had recently bought a cheap version of a baking mat and even after 3 uses the rolled up crease is still there. When I opened the BakeitFun Blue Baking Mat I noticed that it laid flat right away. No creases or bumps.
The circles on the mat are helpful if you're not sure how big to make your cookies. As I mentioned before I make cookies all the time and I only used the printed circles for this review. Otherwise I would put 4 cookies to a row because my cookies are smaller and more bite sized. There is also a ruler along the edges of the mat which would be very helpful if you're trying to roll out dough or make crackers. The directions say that you can even make sticky recipes that will glide right off.

Jenni's Chocolate Chip recipe using the BakeitFun Silicone Mat After placing my cookie dough on the BakeitFun Blue Baking Mat I put my cookies in for the lowest time possible just to make sure that they weren't going to burn. When I pulled them out I realized how well the cookies were cooking. It looked like they were cooking evenly and they weren't spreading as much as they would on the wax paper. I gave them a few more minutes in the over just to make sure the middles were cooked properly.
When I took the cookies out I found that it was extremely easy to use the spatula to get them off of the sheet. The cookies weren't burnt on the bottom and it didn't leave a mess on the sheet. It was awesome knowing that I could just keep going with my cookie baking process and I was able to start a new tray immediately after taking the baked cookies off the sheet.

| Honestly I was surprised how well the BakeitFun Blue Baking Mat worked and I didn't think it would be much better than the less expensive mat that I bought. It was a big surprise when my cookies came out better than ever using this mat. This is definitely going to make me pull out my mixer and recipes more often. I love the BakeitFun Blue Baking Mat and it helps that it's BPA free and FDA safe. If you want your own BakeitFun Baking Mat you can check it out on Amazon.
