The circles on the mat are helpful if you're not sure how big to make your cookies. As I mentioned before I make cookies all the time and I only used the printed circles for this review. Otherwise I would put 4 cookies to a row because my cookies are smaller and more bite sized. There is also a ruler along the edges of the mat which would be very helpful if you're trying to roll out dough or make crackers. The directions say that you can even make sticky recipes that will glide right off.
When I took the cookies out I found that it was extremely easy to use the spatula to get them off of the sheet. The cookies weren't burnt on the bottom and it didn't leave a mess on the sheet. It was awesome knowing that I could just keep going with my cookie baking process and I was able to start a new tray immediately after taking the baked cookies off the sheet.
Honestly I was surprised how well the BakeitFun Blue Baking Mat worked and I didn't think it would be much better than the less expensive mat that I bought. It was a big surprise when my cookies came out better than ever using this mat. This is definitely going to make me pull out my mixer and recipes more often. I love the BakeitFun Blue Baking Mat and it helps that it's BPA free and FDA safe. If you want your own BakeitFun Baking Mat you can check it out on Amazon. Believe me the cheap ones aren't worth it! |
