It creates a gelatinous mixture which helps keep the moisture in and soaks into the top layers of the skin which help keep it feeling firm.

Joyal Beauty Hyaluronic Acid Serum When I applied the Joyal Beauty HA Serum under my eyes I noticed that my skin started to feel cool and moist immediately. Even once the serum dried I felt as though my skin was refreshed. It did make my skin feel a little tacky, but I'm sure that's just the HA doing its job. I did notice that because of the tackiness of the product I wouldn't wear it under my makeup, but I could wear it before a workout or playing volleyball. It's supposed to be a good UVB protective shield and with the moisture that it leaves it could only help out door here in Florida.
