When I first got the Clarisonic Mia for Christmas this year I didn't have any knowledge on the product at all. It wasn't until after I spoke with my sister (she gave me the Clarisonic) about all the benefits that this little piece of equipment can do for your skin. I found that the Clarisonic should only be used every other day. I naturally have an oily T-zone and dry skin around my temples and eyes. I found that using it daily was a little too aggressive for my skin type. It was best if I used a cleanser that didn't already have any exfoliating particles in it and then finishing it up with a good moisturizer.
After the first use of this product I noticed a difference in my skin. It made my face feel so smooth and silky I was tempted to use the Clarisonic on my arms (but I didn't). For the first week I had a few pimples that surfaced, but after they went away I haven't gotten any since. This is so unlike my pimply skin that I have to believe it's from using the Clarisonic.
I've been using this product for about 2 months now and my face has an amazingly smooth glow. I couldn't help but purchase one for my mom since she was so impressed with how my skin turned out. The price is high, but I've spent more money on cleansers, exfoliating gels, and pimple cream that it made up the cost 10 fold for me within 2 months.
For the women who have oily skin I would suggest not putting your moisturizer on the areas that are oily. Instead use a moisturizer only on the dry spots on your face. It will make a world of difference.
* Just a little side note ~ I purchased the lavender colored one for my mother and I have the leopard colored one. :p
