If you haven't had the chance to see a spray paint artist before prepare yourself for amazement. This guy had a booth outside on the strip of Las Vegas, NV. He's almost impossible to miss with the mass of people that surround him to watch as he works on his masterpieces. Each piece being an original that takes less then 7 minutes to make and though they have similarities none are the same color or design. Starting his day around 7pm and working into the wee hours of the night jamming to his music and collecting tips in a hat like a street performer, rain or shine he is there.
What blew me away was the vibe that I got when I walked towards his booth. Everyone was so amazed by his work and the upbeat music that he blares as he waves his spray cans through the air. Not forgetting his OSHA laws he makes sure to mask his face and recycles while he paints. Using what looks to be my last invoice for my oil change last month or something of the like he manages to get the fine details needed to conclude the design.
What inspires me about this guy is his mindset. Who would have thought to make their art using spray cans and recycled frisbees and paper? He gets to do something that he loves, while listening to his choice of music, at night when the cool crowd is out, and he has an audience to applaud him when he's finished with his work. HELLO! Mc FLY! Why didn't I think of that?
