I’m so late getting to the down and dirty of last Saturday’s Adventures of Yard Saling. Sorry everyone! Courtnnie and I had a grand time traveling from place to place and checking out the sales and treasures. Though we didn’t find any amazing sales or treasures we did find a couple AMAZING houses that we liked. Sometimes we take pictures of a house that we adore and talk about the parties and fun we would have in the house. The life we would have and the way we would decorate it. Ahhh to dream. Just check out the one we saw this Saturday.
After looking for houses (one of Courtnnie’s favorite things to do) we stopped by our favorite pet store and realized that our birds were missing us. This place has the most unique animals but it smells like a wet dog as soon as you walk in. It’s something to deal with when you get to see a Sloth and skunk up close and personal. They also have some creepy monkey that likes to screech as soon as you walk in the hallway. I’m not a monkey fan, but Courtnnie on the other hand will pet a homeless person if you let her. She’s all up in the cage and trying to reach in for stuff. It reminds me of the time we went to some fair and she wanted to pet all the animals. I kept yelling for her to come out and I was telling her how gross it was that she was touching everything. You know “ewww don’t touch that, Nooo ewww don’t let that kiss you, Oh god Court look at how dirty that thing is.” Apparently I was preaching so much that this old guy looked at me and said “Okay MOM! You’re daughter can wash her hands.” REALLY!!!! Do I really look like Courtnnie’s mom?! Of course Courtnnie had to joke with me for the rest of the day. Up until she realized by my puppy face that I was traumatized by someone possibly thinking that I could have been her mom.
