Saturday Yard Saling has been a tradition since I moved to Florida 4 years ago. It started when I realized that I had moved into the not as cool as I thought type neighborhood. It turns out that most of the neighbors made their money for the week by having yard sales. Yard sales and sink hole claims, which at the time I thought was bogus until I had a sink hole myself. But that's another story for another day.
This time as I was out yard saling with my girlfriend Courtnnie we stopped into this pet store that we never knew existed. This little bird and I made great friends. If it weren't for the fact that I budget my yard saling dollars to $40 bucks a weekend I probably could have bought him 3 years from now. He was super expensive, but I'm sure with all the love and attention, vet bills, food, water, and cleaning that came with him it all would have been worth it. Luckily this store isn't on our normal yard saling path so I won't be tempted to snatch him up anytime soon. Although I am a sucker for bright colored objects that sing when I touch them.
